seems that you really care for others. if you feel like you're not getting the same treatment then dont ask them "hows your day going" or "how are you." for me, i could care less about other people's lives and hardships since knowing about them isnt gonna benefit me. but i do ask them about themselves if its needed out of courtesy or if they ask me first. otherwise, i dont give a crap about what theyre happy about or what their suffering with. humans are naturally selfish so its not really a big deal.
Is it me or do people love to talk about their self? I have friends who seem to only talk about their life. I'm the kind of person who will ask you "how's your day" or "anything new" or "whats going on with you". They can respond for minutes but no one seems to share the same courtesy for me. I hardly ever get a "what's going on with you" or "how did this go". Even when speaking with strangers or making friends people will talk your ear off about their issues. Is it me? Am I just selfish and self absorbed that I get annoyed when people don't share the same courtesy that I share with them? Or is that just how our society is?
