It wasn't a rushed ending, it was meant to be a short spin off

I see that some of you find it disappointing, in a way it is, because these two characters have such huge character background and I'm sure we're all aching to know more about their relationship and how it'll develop.
This sequel about cho-ul's feelings wasn't needed to portray cho-ul's feelings, but it was done anyway, and seriously, it's a good one. short, simple, and sweet (super angst tbh)
I guess the author was aiming for a 'messed up' feel. and tbh, a lot of lesbian relationships end up like this because girls get close to one another easily, and really, it's only a matter of time and lust to cross that line and 'become' FWB. (in fact, a lot of korean girls are FWB)
so yea, to me, this is a marterpiece that portrayed the reality of that closeted world perfectly.

just my lesbian thoughts no hate pwease (▰˘◡˘▰)

    Hello Vel,
this seems pretty accurate and it is such a sweet story (I love it when there is little to no drama ((pun with Korea...)) ). However I wonder what does FWB mean ?
    Thank you very much ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Chapter 8.5 isn't a sequel. It came out before the series was made. I would say it's more like a prequel or even a stand alone oneshot from which the series was inspired from.

Yea! I find it a sweet story too ヾ(☆▽☆)
Also, FWB is short for 'friends with benefit' and the uhm benefit is... 'that' (● ̄(エ) ̄●)

wow, it being a prequel would've changed a lot of things lol
Half the story I was convinced cho-ul was asexual but then I realized she's just stoic and calm...
Thank you for the info Instant Ramen! (≧∀≦)

Thank you very much, I understand now but I did not know at all that this was so common among Korean girl! Is there a reason for it ? But it does make me think about Aomame and her friend in Haruki Murakami's novel, 1Q84. (▰˘◡˘▰)

I'm not sure why it's common, no one really talks about it, it just happens...
but maybe it's because of a mindset(?) to 'help each other' when times are hard. some are experiencing (which I think is tough if your partner turns out straight), and some are just lustful and prefer to be helped(/TДT)/
it's pretty common among girls, but idk about boys ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
