I find it amazing to see someone say the exact same thing I often tell myself. I have told myself that I am young and that there is so much out there to do. Even though I do think that I am lonely with no friends, I'm excited about wanting to do things.
I truly think that there is something we all want to do but we're too afraid or just stubborn to come out of our shells. At least try something different no matter how big or small, it progress to something better in life. :)

Well, as a person who has lived in 5 different countries, I would say that depends a lot as to where they are from. If we are talking about brazil, for example, they are not even in the least mature, but the age they start having sex is around 13. Norway, however, 15 year old kids still believe in Santa Claus.Of course we can't generalize them, but "maturity" also depends a lot from which country one is from.
I may be young myself, but I can honestly say that I have never met a 15 year old kid who is more mature than an adult. Knowing about sex is one thing, knowing how to live life is a completely different thing (not just on a mental level, but also bills, kids, and etc). The same way kids have things they can teach adults, adults have things they can teach kids. Saying that most "15 years old kids" are more mature is a rather large and broad statement. They may feel more mature, but most of them either haven't had work bitch slap them on their faces or...just never had life bitch slap them on their faces because their parents were/are there to protect them.
"Maturity" both in Norway and Brazil are very different. It really depends on where you are from and how old you are. Where and how you were raised as well.
And as a side note, by "most 15 years old and younger" in what a stated in an earlier comment, I meant in the sense of knowledge about sex. It might be an unpopular and viewed as close minded, but I do think kids under the age of 15 shouldn't be reading porn.
