Honestly, I think the author is just fucking with us right now, "Okay, my main character has two relationship options, an adorable ex who actually cares about him, orrrr a mopey sociopath who has him tortured repeatedly for his daddy because science and shit. Annnnnd I guess we'll go with option B, because apparently the MC is braindead!"
At this point it’s not like Lulang sees this as a romantic issue. At least, with An Baichu it’s not. He needs An Baichu, not because he loves him, but because without him he will die, and he wants to become human again, even if he knows there’s not much chance. Why you so mad about this sis? Is it hitting too close to home?
