Yep, despite appearances, it seems that Jiwon is the more vulnerable, frightened character, who isn't that experienced himself over what a relationship should be be like. DG is a bit of a fantasist, but he comes off as the more mentally stronger one of the two, so the upcoming chapters where they hopefully have a conversation (yes that rare thing in yaoi!) will be interesting, as it seems like their power dynamic might change. Until now both characters have remained pretty true to themselves, but Jiwon was justifiably guarded and put up some firm boundaries. DG understanding why this happened, might empower him to be more assertive, and it might show him being the one who is needed to reassure Jiwon, making their relationship more equal. I think, despite the tricky start, this comic has the opportunity to show a relatively healthy relationship between DG & Jiwon, which at this point would be refreshing, given how normal abuse gets justified in this genre.
So you could say I’ve read the chapters like 4 times, all of the recent ones and I got a good grasp of Jiwon’s personality and mentality?
Jiwon is such a simple minded person. I’m not even kidding he’s just simple, originally, he is someone who’s sensitive and can be hurt or flattered easily.
He cried when his ex cheated on him, and calmed down when DG complimented his skills at gaming. He’s actually very loving and is willing to give everything out to the person he loves... Just look at how soft he looked when he was around his shitty ex.
His only problem is his past, he was just treated like shit and no one deserves such treatment and hearts break easily for a fact. Right now, he’s just being overly conscious of his feelings that he isn’t focusing on his subconsciousness and does reckless things. I never hated him but I also never had a reason to why I don’t. Now I do so I thought I would share it! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
