drawing style

mhhh but maybe you will change when you read it? this happend often for me.
good example is "kawaii akuma" back then it was too mhhhh dunno confusing maybe, something was odd for me with the paneels and stuff I dislked it and didnt read it.
but now... its one of my favorit mangas and also the art is for me beautiful too. cant say how often I re-read the whole series

I don't know but in the beginning I wasn't so picky, but in time I started to pay ever more attention to the style.
For exemple "Happy Yarou Wedding" was recommended to me, because of the nice story, but I couldn't finish it.

Your choice but you might actually be missing out. I remember when I started reading my starring sky the art wasn't the best but the story was really interesting and when season 2 came out the art got Wayyyy better.
Another example is How sweet is a sugar daddy. Like damn some of the anatomy in that story is wack but it's an interesting read. You might be missing out on some really good stories if you let the art dyke get in your way

I really dislike the art for junjou romantica with the exception of Misaki's expressions and the chibis but I love the story so I'll read it to the end...on the other when I want to read smut for smut's sake I want uncensored, beautiful art..Mangas like Scarlet Beriko give me both art and story...Zaria too.

I 'have' something similar. you can slaughter me but the mangas from 'sakira' (bousou kareshi) are not made for me. the art is pretty but somehow I dislke the stories (cant say why)

I´ve read 'How sweeT is a sugar daddy`, but it `s definitely true that I miss out some good stuff because of that. Like all of Kou Fujisaki' Mangas, because i couldn't get warm up to his art.

It used to have little impact on whether or not I decide to start something, but now it's a crucial part of whether or not I decide to read something. If the art looks terrible, I probably won't start it. But if the art is okay and the plot is even better, it'll probably end up in my reading list at some point. It's the same with plots though; almost everything was so palatable before, but now I'm really picky about what the categories and plots I get into (can't even stand shoujo anymore).

And generally, if the art's not to my liking, the plot won't be either.

No, because of the drawing i haven't read something from him at all...
But I also don't like the mangas from 'sakira' (at least the stuff I've take peek at), because I find the the storylines are to crude.

The Anime of Junjou romantica wass the first BL stuff I've seen. After that I started to get interested in that genre. But without wanting to offend anyone, I find meanwhile other mangas visually more appealing.

If I can't handle how ugly the art is, I can focus on yet alone get interested in the story line

The art is important, but, for me, the story is what makes me go back and re-read.

if the cover looks bad I dont read it which sucks because people recommend it later on and I read it and LOVE it ToT and yet.... I do the same thing over and over

for me, I always click on any manga that have good art or at least it's tolerable to me ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~ but if in the middle of reading I found a bad storyline I usually leave it until it updated for a while, like if somehow the romance type if the other party like cheated of the other char (an example for that is see you again) I was like "well, lets leave it for now" ╮(￣▽￣)╭ . Not that it's bad, just it's not my cup of tea type (〜￣△￣)〜
