I think I've watched the first three episodes or so back when the creator of the series uploaded the episodes to YouTube for free. She managed to get a deal with a site now - if you pay, you can watch all episodes on that site. I'm pretty sure that the seme just wore the ring because he didn't want women to approach him, thinking that he was single - I read it in the comments section of one of the episodes that I watched for free from the creator's Youtube channel. Whether it's true or not, I don't really know, I'm afraid , as I haven't watched the remaining episodes. ^^

Thanks for the link but I think I'll pass. She seemed very upset about the fact that people were distributing her work for free that she singlehandedly created - I just feel so bad on her behalf that I simply can't do it. But well... I might read/watch some other stuff on that site! (≧∀≦)
