If you’re trying to imply the seme is an asshole, what would be your reasoning? He’s liked Oriya for a long time in secret. It took him nearly nearly dying to finally gather the courage to be honest, and upfront about his feelings. I’ve seen people harshly judge others for being honest and lacking any artifice. They’re generally labeled as assholes. Well, I’ll take them any day over a socially manipulative person.
This plot comes off as cliche, but when you study the characters’ psyche, it’s beautiful. I adore dichotomy, and that makes me enjoy this manga so much.
