lol because is not like others "games" mangas, Is actually a manga about a gamer "playing" so there's no actual plot, as a gamer I like it because I can relate, and open worlds games are like this, you just roam around leveling and meeting people, is like virtual reality no Isekai so you wont find more troubles that those that actual players face, leveling, events, pks, traps, poverty lol
lots of stories based on games or about gamers have some kind of linear plot, this one too, is a story about a gamer... the plot is that... a gamer doing gamer stuff... not a gamer getting dragged into the game not being transmigrated or reincarnated into a character, he is still just a normal guy playing a game... why are you trying to compare when they are clearly different and they are all still PLOTS, maybe for you it's not "solid" but for me it is, it's more realistic and the everyday occurrences is what make it fun... does it have to be fantasy to be solid, fun or interesting? Maybe you are too used to reading always the same, so you fail to appreciate something different
You are still comparing lol what is the point? I mean You like those plots so this one doesnt have a solid plot? That's YOUR opinion based on what you are used to read, TO ME like I keep saying MY opinion is that you shouldnt compare them, this story is funny and interesting just like it is TO ME, it doesnt need to be any more complicated or produced to accomplish a good and enjoyable read, It's "simple" and you dont like that, tell me how did I miss the point when I criticized you for complaining about it?
Btw I dont know Moonlight sculptor (at least by that name) but Kings avatar, is not about a gamer playing lol, he is like the frigging best player of the world going against the company that fired him... using games... he is totally a cheat character and the story is not about the game, the game is just the way they fight against each other, not even a real RPG or MMORPG game like this one where you can have some kind of second life... so again... how are you even trying to compare?
It feels like the more I read this, the less cohesive the story feels.
