Agreed. It would also be interesting if we got some scenes where Jiwon himself describes his "Alex" persona and why adopted this false, guarded image of himself at university and with his work. Likely it was to do with reinventing himself after whatever the experience with ex did to him, but also, because until now the plot has been a bit dull, lets be honest. The perspective with DG isn't really progressing, but I know most people don't care. Personally I agree more scenes concerning Jiwon and the reason why he is the person he is today are far more interesting.
MD seems to know the more real Jiwon, he can tease him, but he doesn't do so in a malicious way. I guess the drinking episode where Jiwon said that MD 'had something on him" meant that Jiwon got drunk at their works party and ended up divulging things about himself to his workplace rival. A little flashback scene of what really went down would be more of value than just another filler chapter of a sex scene.
