Thank you for the suggestion! I'll definitely read the novel since the story seems interesting and some parts are confusing so I want to understand it more as I also like these types of the genre (≧∀≦)

I highly suggest you read the novel. The manhua lacks too many details and essential information to fully understand & appreciate the story. It is simply too choppy.
The translated (English) version is not complete, unfortunately it's currently on hiatus, but there are 308 chapters available. I personally love this genre, so it took me roughly 3 days to finish reading. It's really good!! It had me hooked. I would tell myself "okay this is your last chapter. you need to sleep now" Nope. I'd end up going to bed at 2 a.m. sometimes 3 lmao
