I never understand why tropes with the childhood friends tend always to rely on the virginal naive uke, and suave seme who's manipulating things behind the scenes to get what he wants. It actually annoys me how the seme says they've always loved their counterpart but have done literally nothing about for it years. Just gone on and lived their lives slept with others and dated other people and then have the nerve to be jealous if the uke even has so much as a single person show them interest other than them. Especially when they're made fun of for being a virgin like done so here like it makes as if there is something wrong with them. I don't know why but it really irks me. Not slut shaming but the whole you deflowered me/ or raped me first so it must be love is so tedious. Maybe it's the reliance of the uke having to be freshly picked by the seme, like there's no reason the uke could find love besides that offered by the seme first. Being a virgin is cool too, just don't understand why all virgin ukes have to have their playboy seme counterparts. I mean I was right there with Jin when he questioned Shigaki's love, as up until now Shigaki had years to express this and only does so after taking advantage of a situation that he know's more or so benefits him. The sex was good but really "sex" appeal...

ahahaha. its really just typical of japanese manga tho. read every shoujo or any other genre. unrealistic and they always have the same vibe tbh. some readers just enjoy the flow while some have critical way of thinking towards the story. japanese romance manga is into "dreamy" stuffs ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ and go along with the things that is popular with "majority".
