This makes sense to me because that name Old Xian, of course its not her birth name. I wonder if the same is true for DJun, the Chinese mangaka who writes the webtoon Here U Are. I don't think I really understand why she would choose to do this but its not for me to question it. Thank you for correcting me, its better to know the truth.
Probably this has been obvious to some for a long time but others not like me. Old Xian is actually a guy - their weibo account uses the male symbol. Usually yaoi/shounen ai is created by female mangaka artists. https://m.weibo.cn/u/1862364383?uid=1862364383... also see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Xian ... I never knew! But the other Chinese webtoon I am following on mangago, Here U Are, is also written by a male that was revealed from the male symbol on their weibo account. A huge revelation, but of course it doesn't change anything about how much I love this story.
