I mean, remember how when he and Skyler attended the same school, Yeonduk was unable to make friends because most people either avoided or bullied him in order to "please" the popular kid (Skyler) or they bought into Skyler's view of him (or both).
This is Skyler's first chance to see Yeonduk acting freely and being who he really is around other people, and not merely "reacting" to the social toxicity that used to surround (and further blind) Skyler.
WELL Said alot of people miss these keys and just see the scene as something more like serves u right when infact there is so much more meaning Skyler in this chapter is finding his lost self without the doubts being cleared his heart is running to its goal once again everything he sees he is reminded of yeonduk he finds excuses just to see yeonduk and acts like it isnt a big deal but infact he it is he is now searching and starting to move in yeonduk's direction after the BAD Mother cloud was lifted thanks to yeonduk that was able to see it before it was to late. He once again saves skyler and now like u mention skyler is seeing how wrong he was and how his young pure self when he fell for skyler was. there alot of dynamics that play before in a relationship but what i love is that they will try to correct there errors and save it even when they didnt fully create the problem but there mothers did. this is getting sooo good and i like that Skylers brain is finally catchin up to his heart! those badump got me
Seeing Yeonduk surrounded with new friends or whatever is not just a way to show Skyler what he's missing... It's a way to show him just how wrong his previous concept of Yeonduk was: the scene showed people spontaneously following Yeonduk because they appreciate his input because of who he is (a kind person) and not for self-interest or the sake of appearances. It serves to put to rest any of his lasting doubts that Yeonduk could still be a double-faced person.
