I get what you are saying, but I also understand what is going on in the manga. Some girls want to look nice for their guy especially if it is their first time with them. Maybe she should have told him the reason, but then the manga wouldn't have been as long *shrug* :)
she's so stupid why avoid your boyfriend for like 5 days because you're not wearing fashionable underwear. If you know how much your boyfriend loves you . You would know he wouldn't care for some dumb shit like that.
