I had a few but haven't had them for awhile now. Sometimes I'd use brutal force to move myself, or try wake myself, or continue sleeping because I'm too lazy to deal it. Once, I saw a dark creature on top of my body. Sleep paralysis don't bother me much but it's annoying when happen too frequently.

I get sleep paralysis pretty frequently, but i've realized that i get them more when i'm stressed and because of bad sleeping habits (like i got them a lot when i was still in school, often when i was napping during the day. One period i got it like once a week, it was exhausting). Its honestly fucking terrible. I feel bad saying that cus i know a lot of people are already scared enough of getting it.. but i do think it helps a lot if you've heard of it before and can recognize it. Then its easier to just relax and let it pass. In the beginning i was so scared, first time it happened i honestly though i was dying. I felt like someone was crushing my head and every time i tried to move something would push me back into the bed. I tried to scream for help but barely any sound came out. and suddenly i felt something grab both of my legs and started pulling them up towards the ceiling. It so scary cus it doesnt feel like a dream, i felt like it was actually physically happening to me. Later I woke up shaking and started bawling my eyes out. Nowadays i can feel when its about to happen and wake myself up before it happens, so im not too bothered anymore.
I think most people experience it at least once, but i dont think its as common to get it a lot so dont worry too much. Just accept whats happening and try to just fall back to sleep.
