Yeah, I think it was a clever way of managing it. Before I thought the only answers were getting rid of anon or keeping them. With this, you can do both.
At the bottom (where is guy's face is on the right (=・ω・=)) there is a check box when you make a comment.
Cool that they added if you want anonymous to reply. Bad for the anonymous, but cool for account people.
