This does not affect me very much it’s sad but not sad enough to hurt, I understand where the author is going with this but I feel like it would be a lot more painful to read if the uke never came to love akane but mei, and akane finally breaks to truly be mei and they build the house of mei’s dream and live in the twisted world. But that’s just my fucked up logic.
