YEESSSSS!!!! FINALLY

Meh, at the moment it seems like the characters are stuck at being 14. All playground bullying and -sass- retorts, with a bit of hand holding and kissing thrown in for fanservice. It's only shonen ai, but still I would have maybe expected a bit more maturity than an adult telling someone to 'fuck off" as this amazing, groundbreaking event.

I think Here U are provides a much broader story in demolishing the conventional BL cliches. The 'bottom' is not your average submissive character who is naive, incapable and unable to stand up for themselves. While still being a broken and flawed character, he doesn't lash it out on others, is reserved or rebellious like most in stories. Not to mention that this story portrays the "female obstacle" troupe as a respective and understanding character that nudges the audience to root for her. I have confidence in this BL, as it is one, if not my most favorite. Maybe it is just me, but BL stories with the lack of sexual advances and drama plot devices aren't equivalent to a bad story ?? I think it's refreshing and different, which makes it good because we as the readers, are unable to predict what the author will throw at us.

It's not a bad plot, but it does follow some of the tedious "yaoi cliches" like it or not, drama over some nonsense misunderstanding, and yes the "meddling woman" character. Even if they have presented in a more sympathetic manner, it is a bit predictable. I guess the comment I made was more about the response of the characters on here, where Yuyang telling people to get tae fuck, or not hiding he is gay is seen as this monumental event. Maybe the issue is that the chapters are so short, so all of these little events are seen as bigger than what they actually are, and things get drawn out. It must have only been a few weeks since the term started.

So in your opinion, what are some BL romances manga/manhua that do not carry any cliches and are completely unique on their own?

Initially, I was just specifically speaking to @clouds because it seems that she knows/there are some BL manhuas that don't carry cliche themes, as if there /are/ any that aren't cliche in some way. She was talking as if she knew a lot but it seems she doesn't :}
