What about the lack of progress with Dong-gyun's development, shouldn't that be up for criticism? From Jiwon's perspective, DG is this fan boy who he has known for a few weeks, he isn't his partner and they are in the raw chapters at least starting to talk a bit more, although DG is still thinking Jiwon is Alex. In the raw chapters you see Jiwon struggling more with flashbacks to a previous relationship, and presumably he reflects on this. I'm guessing the ex partner he has anxiety over was his first, and maybe only relationship. If this is the case, and Jiwon does eventually tell DG that he has only had one boyfriend and it caused him a lot of issues, as well as the confession about his weight struggles... will Dong-gyun accept this real, and not perfect Jiwon as it isn't his "Alex" ideal who brags in his streams about one night stands and being super confident.... I don't think so at this stage.

You sound so mad because I don’t like them LMAO. they haven’t displayed any toxic behavior from their first meet which is why I like hem, unlike dg and jiwon. Nigga they’re both dumbasses. Dg is literally a fanboy and lets jiwon do whatever he wants to him and it’s been almost 30 chapters and jiwon hasn’t developed into a character who isn’t a dick by learning from his constant mistakes. Get over it fatty

Also I happen to be a mingwa fan so I dislike when someone calls her work pathetic. DG is a fictional character made by her just like the rest characters. Also underestimating her work is annoying to me and to the author as well I imagine. Not everyone has the same logic of yours so respect the manhwa.

Not the person you are replying to, and goodness this comment section has escalated quickly, but I disagree with your point that as readers we must like every character. Sometimes awful characters are important to the plot, Dong-gyun is a deluded, meek person, who is projecting his idealised view of relationships and a person onto a real life situation. That doesn't mean Jiwon is a saint either, just most people are not 100% good and perfect or equally completely horrid. There doesn't seem to be much, if any development with DG understanding that Jiwon is putting on "BJ Alex" as an act for his show, and he has insecurities and his own background just like DG has. Some progress seems like it will be being made in the raw chapters, as it shows Jiwon talk to DG about his weight/body image struggles and also Jiwon seems to be reflecting on the cause of his trauma.
Chanwoo as a comparitive character is self aware, confident and a lot more worldly. But as you have said, he hasn't been in the comic a lot, so from the few times he was featured they are the opinion readers have of him so far.
Chanwoo and MD are my babes now, cause the author doesn’t seem to really try to make progress with how jiwon acts
