ugh finally!!! Because these comments are just so repulsive lately. I like stories that make us question right from wrong and the motive of the characters or how cool or cute a scene is are more things I want to see. Not flame wars.
It probably has a lot to do with the fact that this series probably garners more views/readers than your typical Japanese manga. Let's face it, anything that's Lezhin or manhwa related immediately generates a ton of readers/views. Getting a chapter a week or having someone pirate and upload a chapter a week keeps the series on the forefront for readers as opposed to manga which gets released whenever the hell the scanlation group feels like releasing it (no criticism here, it's just the way it is).
Ah, I just noticed a reader below us made pretty much the same exact observation.
Thanks. And true, this is just fictional so people shouldn't get triggered by the rape XD I don't mind rape as long as it's the MC or ML doing it to their partner, but if it's someone else like an antagonist or sth, that's when I always lose my shite and doesn't read the story.
I'm starting to think the reason for how rotten the comments for this story have become is because there's a lot of under age people in here who have little to no knowledge of just how yaoi and bl stories play out. 75% of yaoi stories have some sort of forcible sex involved in the story. Or maybe some of you lost the contest that lezchin had for new comics and you're bitter.
If you can't read these stories without being uncomfortable then don't read them.
Again IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THEN DON'T READ IT. Stop trying to ruin it for those of us who view it as a form of art and not real life because this is not real life. Men can become pregnant. Its not real. Theres a place for bringing politics into art, this is not the place.
Theres plenty other yaois on this site that have more savage, smutty, forced, brutal sex scenes
I know because I've been using this site for close to 10 years, and others before that. If you really want to make a stand against this genre then you should be in every single one of the comments for all those other stories as well. I've never in all my years seeing so much chaos over a yaoi story, that isn't even that intense.
No one is saying whats going on shouldn't be considered wrong in some way, but THIS IS OMEGAVERSE YAOI. EVERYTHING IS FICTIONAL. If you really cared about sexual assault of any kind you wouldn't be in a comment section on a site that has ILLEGALLY posted scans of webcomics and other published works; you would be out protesting on the streets, being active in your communities advocating agaisnt rape and sexual assault.
Everyone who is up in arms about this story being awful because it dips into a world where forced sex is something that is a part of life for a type of character are throwing stones from glass houses.
