It's cheap to drink in Korea even in restaurants unlike in my case US. I don't remember clearly but it was definitely not much more than you buying it at the market while in the US just 1 shot is roughly 8-10 but only around 3 dollars for a bottle of soju. Taxi can be expensive if you live really far but not crazy expensive because there are so many taxi available since people don't drive that often, I think sometimes I see more taxis than regular cars on the street It was roughly $10US for 10km. It's cheaper than Uber here but to Koreans it's still expensive and a luxury to take taxi home, though.
