Anyone else a bit bothered with these mangas that show an abusive relationship and yet have the victim fall in love with the abuser like it’s true love?

It is just ink on paper... and will not affect fujoshis’ or fudanshis’ life

It's not even portrayed as this though, but as being normal and part of a relationships development. A lot of manga's have the trope where one character needs to be raped/assaulted by their love interest in order to confirm their feelings which is pretty odd and awful. From a readers perspective such plots are just pretty poor. There are some good mangas which address the issue of codependency and stockholm syndrome, but the OP was talking about mangas where one partner rapes another as though it's nothing.

some people just don't care for morals in works of fiction, which is fine i suppose if they're able to separate those concepts from real life. i personally avoid stories like that.
