I really want to see a dramatic shift in power-dynamic.

    It's such a cringey thing to say, but I much prefer plots where the "uke" character is the one who is calling the shots and is the confident, dominant one. The whole trope that the one who is getting fucked, must be this unassertive, weak doormat in all aspects of their life is pretty dull to read and I would imagine it also has some rather sexist undertones (ie they are often referred to as being a "woman" or taking the "girls role"). Kusabi Keri has a few of these more confident uke characters,

    I don't know how that's a cringey thing to say but, I mean, I agree. I only meant that I would like to see a sort of power struggle in their relationship with the new jealousy thing with the kind of shift where the seme realizes how important the uke is to him.

    I guess the term "uke" is cringeworthy, but yes it would be a good opportunity for the plot to show Dong-gyun gaining a bit of confidence and becoming more assertive in all aspects of his life. Jiwon too could be shown to reflect on his past trauma with the ex, and try to move on from this.
