I think Jaejin would be way more likeable if his entire character wasn't just jealousy and...

He essentially has no personality other than being a character that thinks selfishly and quickly (in my opinion) i wish the author shows us his good sides because i think it’s a bit unfair for the character to be so bland lol

He's not a character. He's a plot device. Can't feel bad about his bad arm because our story wouldn't have been able to do much with the MC on the bench all year. Can't feel bad about his unrequited love because we don't really know his feelings nor want him with the MC's crush. He holds no value otherwise.

I like him. In my opinion there is a reason to like him. But some people can't control their emotions so we can't hate him. I also think that since he's jealous(we've all been there) it shows how real he is and how similar he is to the readers. He also just moves the plot along so without him I don't think it would be a sign interesting.

I don't think it would be an interesting story because there wouldn't be an antagonist which wouldn't be as engaging/entertaining.*

@OkurrOkurr but why? why do you like him? what's the reason to like him? he doesn't have any personality aside from being jealous and angry. if he was comic relief or if he showed soft, tender moments then i could sympathize with him, but right now...there's nothing.

I'm pretty sure he isn't always jealous and angry. Like I said, we all can be angry and jealous so I don't get why not liking someone when they don't know how to react or control their emotion is bad. It's not his fault that he's being genuine.

but we haven't seen anything other than the jealousy and anger! that's my whole point - if he's an actual human with other emotions, SHOW US THE OTHER EMOTIONS. then i could see people liking him.
