This is my theory about his hand. It is his real hand and he has metal braces that are connected to his tendons and replace some bone. We don't know the full situation but with the information, we do have I think the damage was severe and not all the bones in his hand could be saved and with that extensive nerve damage and he lost all feeling in his hand.

I'm not too sure on how his hand works. Is it a prosthetic? And if so what are the capability and limitations of the hand? Because.... I have no clue! If it's not a real hand, most of them don't function 100% as a hand usually does, but his hand seems to be able to move and bend like a normal hand.
Does anyone know what kind of hand prosthetic thing he probably has? I mean it's never been said, but it has a line on his hand. Also the girl stepped on it in the first chapter and he didnt feel a thing or notice......... I'm confused lol
