Most yaoi always include some sort of sexual assault or rape to the uke. (〜￣△￣)〜 OR there is always an ex trying to mess with their relationship.

having this idea that in a gay relationship each partner has a role they have to go by until the end of time. have you not heard of reverse?
having a preference is different from not understanding there can be a change. if they both agree on one position, alright cool. but some yaoi they go into the relationship expecting a bottom role because theyre smaller or more feminine. like why? and then when uke wants to change position and seme becomes wild with offense. look dude, if youre not willing to give your ass to your lover, i question why your lover needs to give his ass to you. negotiate, talk it out. youre not the only man in the relationship. vice versa for if the seme wants to bottom and uke takes offense (or is weirded out because he thought he would bottom forever). like just be men and work it out. im tired of these 'roles'. these authors act like the characters can't change position after the first time wtf

- the whole seme/uke thing is annoying asf bc not only does it completely ignore that the majority of gay couples switch, it also strips them down to mere sexual roles
- mischievous 'seme'/naive 'uke' dynamics are all the same and boring as fuck
- most of the recent bl webtoons are let-downs
- feminine male characters are lovely and don't deserve the hate they get
