Um So being raped himself wasn't 'bad' enough? So I guess thanks for being the fifth one to prove my point? Apparently no one thinks it IS bad enough that Nachi was raped to call out his rapist the same way they called out Nachi for raping Chiaki. But one difference that every last one of you five ignored, Chiaki forgave Nachi. Nachi did not implicitly or explicitly forgive HIS rapists. So much for rape apologia going by the wayside. Also Nachi wasn't being the self defensive asshole that his own rapist was but somehow Nachi is worse just by the glaring omission you people make when it comes to discussing HIS rapist. Or at least try to accuse Nachi of doing things he actually is NOT doing.
He actually didn't forgive Nachi, he explicitly says "it's not like i forgave you, but... The problems aren't the same!" on ch 3, pg 20. I agree with you in that Nachi has been through a lot, but no, he wasn't forgiven, and no, him being raped wasn't a "consequence for raping Chiaki". How would him getting raped be a "consequence" anyways? No one deserves to be raped and if Chiaki took pleasure in Nachi being raped as some kind of revenge that'd be very questionable. The two rapes are separate cases and the latter one isn't punishment for Chiaki's. That's actually what Chiaki was saying there too, in the dialogue i cited above. Nachi was saying he had no right to be upset about being raped since he had raped Chiaki and Nachi felt it was his own fault the other guy raped him in the 1st place because he invited the other guy to sex first. Chiaki responds saying "it's not like i forgave you, but... The problems aren't the same!", he's telling Nachi that his rape and Nachi's rape are separate issues so of course he has every right to complain. You should read ch 3, pgs 17-20 for a refresher on the context. Do i think Nachi should suffer consequences? No. While he wasn't forgiven, the two of them came to a mutual understanding when Chiaki decided to let them both move on from the bj rape. He decided Nachi is important enough to move on, not forgive. So no, i don't think Nachi needs to face consequences.
