My thoughts exactly! I agree with Hyesung being insecure and thus the root of his reluctance, and with Dojin’s inexperience with feeling and behaving like a civilized being (though I give him kudos for maintaining SOME levelheadedness when Hyesung went into heat)
I despise rape scenes, they also make no sense in romance plots, but I didn’t really get that vibe from this yet (I’ll have to see what Dojin does next chapter and if Hyesung genuinely doesn’t want it before I’ll call this rape). I think it’s more a clashing of desire and will rather than rape.
people are furious at dojin for the rape but when i reread this it felt like hyesung didn't really hate it. i totally sounds like im justifying rape but im not. i hate it too and im so relieved that people are coming at him for it. it's just that i don't think it's much of a big deal to hyesung. like it's not as bad as some people make it out to be.
i know they're not a couple but i sure as hell saw a lover's quarrel and a miscommunication that lead to this kinda hate sex. from what i've seen hyesung seems indenial of the fact that he doesn't mind having sex/living with dojin. i think it's cause he doesn't really know what dojin wants from him and that makes him defensive. he didn't seem like he felt abused or violated, he might have just hated the fact (that he concluded himself) that dojin only did it for the inspirations. i see him as an very insecure person so he might have hated the fact that dojin didn't really want him as a person.
dojin, on the other hand, is also seems indenial, more so ignorant, about his feelings so he ends up saying things that can be misinterpreted. i think he genuinely cares for hyesung and is doing a pretty good job acting on it. he felt guilty for what he's done to hyesung and tries to make up for it. tho we all know it's also cause he can't live without him anymore hoho. but he does need to keep hid patience in check. i can kind of understand why he snapped tho. he trying to be as nice as he could to make hyesung stay but hyesung still wants to leave, going to a guy that he was jealous of. it doesn't justify forcing himself on hyesung but i do think it's not as bad as how people make it out to be.
