actually i think yeonduk knew what skyler's mother going to do. because he heard the conversation between skyler's parents. that's why he adamantly asked skyler to stay
I am pretty sure Yeon duk guessed it. Since the previous night was filled with the mom and dad's terrible fight, he must have had an inkling on what was about to happen.
