Jinha was just misunderstood a lot, get yalled at, get blame at everything he didn't do. I feel sorry for him XD he actually nicer then Siwon ever was.

Yep, the ginger friend doesn't exactly come off well, but I think in comparison to the permanently greetin' faced, emotionally abusive Siwon anyone would look like a saint. Ginger friend (Dongyun?) still was a homophobic prick, even if this was based on his own anxieties over being gay/bi. His behaviour towards Jinha too was pretty poor, as he just enables Siwon to be abusive towards him and blamed Jinha for escaping. Also, does the ginger friend not care that Siwon, who he views as being his best friend, freely became friends with (and all the other crap) the guy who sexually assaulted him?
Some people have said the level of drama, emotional immaturity etc is more common in Korean drama's though, so maybe it works better for the intended, original audience, especially as most E.U countries have better equality/anti-discrimination laws and different social attitudes towards things like LGBT and mental health which mean the behaviour of the characters comes off as unrealistic and inappropriate to us.
I agree with you on that any character will come off better then the abusive Siwon.
mmm I don't think the original audience matter that much, since it still a yaoi comic, it not suppose to be real anyway. in Japen there is much more Homophobia and still you don't see it that much worse and unrealitic way in manga so...yeas I think the creator is at fault for not creating a very good plot or character's, that''s all. also I read other Korean comic that did show much more realitic yaoi couple that deal with discrimination much better way. so I don't think it cause of Korean laws, I think it's the one who created this story. also if you want to read a very good korean comic on discrimination, read "Dark Heaven"
Dark Heaven is great (so long though!). I like Lover boy too, which is a bit comparable and the characters have more mundane jobs.
(Going on the raws/author's twitter Lover boy ends with a wedding too, just like in Dark Heaven ╮(￣▽￣)╭ )

I don't even know what to expect anymore. Siwon gets dummer by the chapter (believe me, I tried liking him but he makes it impossible). Lu is a fucking asshole, but he's so damn hot it pisses me off. Kang Jinha started out as an asshole and now I don't even know what to think about him. Could it be that the redhead who was hated when he didn't accept Siwon has become the most decent character in this manhwa?
