How the fuck are people arguing that that wasn’t rape?
1. The seme uses manipulation and emotionally abusive behavior to coerce the uke into doing his hands-off masturbation
2. The uke literally says No three fucking times. One was SFK sure, but two weren’t. One SFX is even “resist.”
3. The seme obviously didn’t care if the uke consented or not. Look at his dialogue, his actions.
4. It doesn’t matter if he ‘liked it’ (sex is supposed to feel good), or if he had feelings for the seme.

In the end, I’m still going to read this manga, and I’m not even complaining about the scene itself. I’m just irritated by the people in the comments ignoring that the uke was very clearly raped.

Read what i said below to Melimeio-chan. Also, no he didn't say no, at least not to the sex.

Refer to #3 and #4. A rape victim can still have had feelings for their rapist beforehand, and it’s still rape if the victim “feels good” or whatever. Rape victims can often have confusing, conflicting thoughts about their experiences, especially if one or both of those two things is true. I’m also seeing the argument that the uke would’ve been OK with it if he knew the seme actually liked him and wasn’t messing with him. That doesn’t matter- he was still raped because he didn’t want it.
He also... did say no? He didn’t even want the initial sexual encounter to occur, he was coerced into it, and he said no to the seme’s insistance and touches. Pack again to #3. Besides for looking at the uke, we should also note that the seme obviously didn’t care if he had consent or not. He was forceful, never received a yes or an okay, and initially manipulated (emotionally abusive behavior) the uke into masturbating in front of him, which is sexual harassment/sexual assault.
“Sexual assault is an act in which a person sexually touches another person without that person's consent, ***or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will.***” Regardless of even the actual penetration scene, the seme already committed sexual assault before that happened. Forcing someone to masturbate is considered a form of sexual assault.

Don’t bother arguing with this person. They cannot be reasoned with and will dismiss any evidence you give them by saying that you’re misreading the story.

Read what i said, he doesn't JUST say he felt good, he literally says he "yearned to be touched again". The situation you describe and this aren't the same. My newest comment explains this all best, you should read it. You're saying he didn't want it, but Oono himself is explicitly saying he did, or can that be interpreted another way? "i yearned to be touched again". Kureshima wasn't "forceful", he never used force, he was pushy. Point out the page where he held Oono down, he only pushed him back onto the bed. You're just saying things. He isn't a rapist, he's just pushy. He never forced Oono to say yes. The threat was a very weak one, "i'll leave". None of this matters anyways, this is all you looking at the scene in ch 3 and projecting what YOU think Oono was feeling on him, he says what he was feeling himself. He says that he wanted to be touched, that he was in denial about his feelings for Kureshima and that he was intending to blame Kureshima for the sex out of said denial. He's explicitly saying that he wasn't being honest about the sex, that it actually felt good and that he wanted it, he was jjst in denial after. He isn't upset about the sex, he's upset about how he doesn't know how Kureshima feels about him, that's what he meant when he said "i don't understand Kureshima. He scares me". This is backed three times in ch 4. The first time when Kureshima comes to class and speak to Oono normally like nothing happened and this results in Oono yelling "so you were just messing with me" at him. The 2nd time is when Oono blows up at Kureshima in the 1st instance and asks why Kureshima did it, Kureshima replies "you know why". The implication is that he had sex with Oono out of love and that Oono is pretending not to know. Oono confirms this at the end of ch 4. The 3rd time is at the end when Oono sees Kureshima touching his new girlfriend and says "it's unfair. I should be the only one", he's saying uts unfair that Kureshima fucked him and is touching someone else and that Kureshima should only touch him. He wants Kureshima to like him romantically.

That isn't true at all... If you can provide a valid argument that sways me, i acknowledge it and will even say i was wrong. Disregarding what a person has to say is incredibly closed minded, especially when that advice is coming from someone i'm still currently arguing with... If you want to look at our argument to see that Lavender just has no valid argument and is saltilt telling you to ignore me, be my guest. It's under my comment "everyobe needs to take a REAL close look at ch 4".

Also, you said Kureshima isn't interested in knowing if he has Oono's consent, but if you look in ch 3 you'll see that Kureshima sees Oono is awkward about the masturbation at first so he tries to help him relax and set the mood by dirty talking so he can see his delusion more vividly.

Dude you literally just keep repeating the same argument verbatim after ignoring how I said it was wrong. Seriously, stop responding, fuck off. I’ve already argued your points and you did barely anything to argue against them. I saw you in other comment chains too, you act like you’re the only one with the real argument but no matter how many times people point out evidence that contradicts your claims, you straight up ignore it. Stop acting like you have the moral high ground and fuck off, you’ve shown yourself acting like an asshole in the entire comment section.

    coffeedrinker May 18, 2018 3:20 am

Clearly we interpreted the text differently, and I see a very clear case of a victim being raped by someone they trusted and like and confused by the feelings of pleasure they experienced from the rape, as well as someone being pushy, manipulative, and coercive in regards to sex and strongly indicates rape or at least sexual assault. The fact that the uke doesn’t have friends and doesn’t want to lose the one friend he has also drastically affects the situation, making him more likely to feel confused about the abuse he’s experiencing.
That’s how I see it, I have no idea how you don’t see the abuse/manipulation aspects, but regardless the scene was still rape. The uke never gave consent. It was rape,
Seriously, people are taking this too seriously and analyzing it too hard. It’s just a yaoi manga with a bullying/rape -> love plot.

Yeah, because you and all those other idiots , not including thehumansin as they can hold a proper conversation without being a cunt, can't bring forward a valid argument. Your "arguments" are "no, i don't think it was like that. It didn't look like that" even though i'm giving you indisputable dialogue explicitly stating Oono "wanted to be touched again". Uf he wanted Kureshima to touch him then how was it rape exactly? I value what Oono says over what you think is happening.

What part of don’t respond don’t you get? You’re needlessly a huge dick. You’re getting pissy over a shitty yaoi manga. Grow up. I’d block you if I could. You’re head is so far up your own ass that you don’t even consider things that contradict your opinions. Seriously, don’t respond to my thread again. Asshole.

Ignoring what actually occurred in the chapter of the sexual assault is just as bad as ignoring chapter 4 - except oh wait, by chapter 4 he’s a victim and some of his thoughts will be conflicted and confused, for reasons I already fucking touched upon.
People are allowed to disagree with me off, but don’t be a dick like this person.

Lol. You were a dick to me 1st, i responded in kind. When you leave a response like earlier out of nowhere acting like you were you can bet i wont give a shit about what you want. You could always mute the conversation? You never "contradictec" anything and i definitely went over all your "points", if you can call them that, they were just a bunch of ideology and interpretation without backing for why you read it the way you do. LOL.

Except i've gone over both ch 3 and 4, "ignoring". Like i said directly above this reply, your counters are just "no, it looked like this to me" with no evidence to back up your interpretation. The dialogue directly goes with everything i've been saying.

You’re a hypocrite. I asked you to stop cause this is a thread I started. Because you ignore my points despite “LOL I DIDNT I ARGUED THEM EVEN THO I DIDNT SO IM
NOT EVEN GONNA TRY TO UNDERSTAND YOUR POINTS CAUSE YOU CAN ONLY BE WRONG!” You obsessively comment on everyone in the comment section’s posts, because how dare someone interpret text differently.

I’ve said twice for you to not respond anymore. I’ll say it a third time. Leave me the fuck alone. Congrats, if you continue, what you’re doing is technically a form of cyber bullying and harassment. Good on you. Dick.

You can look back and see that each of my replies is in response to something YOU said. Quit trying to play the victim card... Me leaving comments on the comments section is pretty much what it's there for, yes? I was only disrespectful to people who were disrespectful first.

I love how you're saying I was rude first when it was you and that I"M cyberbullying YOU when YOU were the one who took our conversation to where it is now when you told me to "fuck off". You have this all reversed, YOU are the cyberbully, i'm just responding to YOU and YOU were the one to be rude first.
