Well according to the novel (if the manga follows the light novel...
So the pharmacist in the recent chapter isn’t her real dad. Her real dad is actually a general in the palace. I think they know each other because he recognizes her. They’ll meet in after quite a few chapters. Her real dad is kind of sly and cunning but he’s not a bad guy. I don’t quite remember what happen/who the mom is because it’s been a while since I’ve kept up with the novel. If I can recall she knows him but she doesn’t really sees him as her real dad since the other dad was the one who raised her and taught her about medicine

The Mom was a prostitute who got pregnant to get out of this life. But her Dad left for war (I think) and then since she was pregnant her worth reduced a lot. Her (now) dad adopted her. He used to be a pharmacist in the inner palace and saved the empress (now empress dowager) life.
It's been a long time since I read the novel so some details are hazy to me.

Ah I suddenly remember ! So her fake dad use to work in the palace and that’s why there’s so many random herbs in the palace. He planted them there while he worked there but there was a sort of big instance where he couldn’t prevent someone’s death(?) and that’s why he doesn’t work there anymore. Someone put put the blame on him when since he couldn’t prevent the death
maybe she would turn out to be a royal or maybe she would find her real mother in the inner palace, that would be cool! ╮(￣▽￣)╭
