i didnt mean to write this much

ok idk if i can word this properly the main thing that really bothers me abou this is how the author is proceeding with the effect of the rape. like ik a lot of manga have rape in it now (which i hate) but in those its like the mangakas are kinda just like oh forced sex is hot or whatever and nothing really comes out of it. but in this one the mangaka literally wrote the rape as a traumatic experience. it wasnt like those stupid "oh jk it feels good now" but the guy (forgot his name) was scared, uncomfortable and anxious during and after the rape. basically, the mangaka wrote it like a realistic rape and not this stupid yaoi "fantasy" rape where it actually feels good. and then after that blonde guy isolates him from his friends and purposefully makes him uncomfortable (not to mention how he manipulated him by threatening to expose his secret) and i was like wow ok so this mangaka is gonna accurately depict rape thats new but then NO. we on this dumb "wow i actually like him!" bullshit again! so what im trying to say is what really bothers me is the fact that this mangaka didn't even diminish how horrible rape is and showed how traumatic it actually is but is STILL gonna make it that shittty ass plot of i liked him all along but its ok. like no. this is undeniably, inexcusably an abusive relationship and that blonde guy needs to go to jail fuck this. ALSO unrelated but even adding the rape in also was completely irrelevant to the plot unless the mangaka wanted to have that "pain porn" and angst which is shitty on their part if theyre not gonna have there be any repercussions. waste of a story

I agree with you, I think the rape was completely unnecessary and illogical, if you want somebody to like you, you do not rape them! I think the story would have been better if a kiss was forced in order to express his desire (which is less traumatic and can be forgiven) than rape which I do not think can be forgiven.

Agreed. I thought the same as I was reading, but then I just thought "oh, so both have screwed up issues; one is manipulative and the other feel into his hands". A waste, really.

The way the mangaka is proceeding with it, its like "the uke fucked up and now he has to fix his mistake and admit his feelings!!" um nO?? WUT? the seme should b the one feeling guilty and apologizing... r u dumb?
