Opps, sorry, I didn't intend to break people's hearts any further. I was just letting out my thoughts.Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
I'm just bothered that Oscar hasn't emotionally reciprocated to Lily's advances... Lily has been so straightforward about how he feels about Oscar and I don't like saying this, but Oscar just used Lily as an Eduardo replacement. :( Oscar does not give Lily affection once Eduardo appears.... ┗( T﹏T )┛
Oscar became this gentle human being when he and Eduardo were having sex, but when he and Lily had sex... It was as if Oscar didn't look at Lily and lived in his own world. Even Oscar telling Lily to get straight to sex their first night showed us that Oscar wasn't looking forward to having a romantic night, but to get horny (maybe Oscar was pent up from not having sex with Eduardo in who-knows-how-long...) ( ̄へ ̄)
So, damn.... The difference when Oscar has sex with Eduardo and when Oscar talks with Lily (we don't even need to see them in bed together anymore) shows us a major difference in how Oscar feels about the two. When we saw Lily and Oscar have sex at first, I thought there was a chance for them to become a couple! But damn, that look on Oscar's face when Lily first sees Eduardo... I am convinced that Oscar views Lily as a sex replacement and that hurt LOL!!
Haha, your question and expression, "Why does the author just love to bring back ex- boyfriends? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭" made me chuckle! I remember in Mystic Messenger, 707 asked what the most persistent creature in the world is, and one option is, "ex-boyfriend" haha! ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ Ex-boyfriends are persistent!!
I think Edo and Melvin had the potential to develop as a couple... They respected each other as photographers and seemed comfortable!! (We saw Edo wake up in Melvin's bed - they shared a bed!!) I think Melvin and Hugo didn't break up on clean terms, which was where that unresolved vibe came from... Although, maybe it was better that Hugo came back before Edo and Melvin developed further.
I see M's Study as lifechanging for Edo, but it wasn't intended to be a love story for him... Edo was drawn to Hugo because Melvin was attracted to Hugo, yet Edo knew he had to leave to discover his own photography style, without further being influenced by Hugo's photography lens. Part of me feels like Melvin has given up on pursuing an independent and healthy romantic relationship too.
Phantom on the other hand... It hurts because Lily wants a serious relationship, while Oscar wants a stable relationship with Eduardo. Oscar and Lily want the same type of relationship, but Oscar just hasn't fallen in love with Lily. :/ If Eduardo breaks up with Oscar or dies and Oscar dates Lily for that reason alone, I wouldn't want that either LOL. I want Oscar to fall in love with Lily on his own, for who Lily is. Am I asking for too much?( ̄∇ ̄")
But anyway...we'll see how the story goes. I hope Phantom won't be like Preference and Prejudice, since I didn't feel that Taeho and Eisen fell in love with each other. (At most, Taeho admired Eisen as a director and was interested in his life views, while Eisen found Taeho cute(〜 ̄△ ̄)〜)
I don't have high hopes for Oscar's feelings changing and falling madly in love with Lily, if Eduardo is still around... It's understandable and sad that Oscar didn't hesitate to Eduardo's advances and the two had sex so easily. (︶︿︶)=凸 Poor Oscar will continue waiting for Eduardo, who is unwilling to give Oscar the attention he deserves. :( Meanwhile, Lily will continue to have feelings for Oscar and stay confused... This might sound bad, but I'd rather have Eduardo break up with Oscar and have Oscar heartbroken, so he could move on and hopefully consider Lily, than to have Oscar and Lily stuck and Eduardo wandering around without a care. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Is Eduardo intentionally giving Oscar false hope, so Oscar would continue racing?? Would Oscar racing be for Eduardo's own benefit??
(Please NO spoilers)
