He has to take it a regular intervals or it fucks up his heart (I think it said “your heart would explode”). The drugs are expensive, and depending on where you get them they can be defective and kill you anyway. His parents have been providing it for his entire life, which means they have a reliable/trustworthy source. He already said he would forgive them eventually and he’ll continue taking the pills, he’s def going to rely on his parent for his drugs.
I wish there was more, I would love to see more of the star crossed lover thing sprinkled with “pioneering” (or furthering depending on in universe history) civil rights movement, and also the road to forgiveness and healing of the broken family + found family fluff.
well He did the right thing. he ran off to think, not to run away, but merely to give himself space. The guy he adores being supportive and they seem to be forming a real romance. His parents are upset, while the other's is nosy and supportive. In this they conculde to keep doing the fur pills because at this point his body is addicted to them. Weaning him off the drugs apparently isn't an option like it is in our society. But they should give him a bottle to take with him incase he feels bad again. Maybe with this he can try to bulid a bridge between the different types of cat. And as it sounds, his parents might not be pure-breeds either.
