And unfortunately, those sh***y people (mom and dad) exists IRL - that's my experience working with abused/abandoned kids. Sad reality ┗( T﹏T )┛
The part when he said he’d save the other man over his daughter didn’t sit right with me. And the way the author wrote his daughter as some kind of burden. Ughh.
