._. I'm not really a fan of stories like chapter 5. These insecure confession types of stories always follow a pattern I can't help but roll my eyes at.
1) Confess to Crush who has ZERO awareness of you.
2) After your crush starts paying attention to you, Reject him. (What the hell was the point in confessing then? Don't want to be hurt so you'll hurt and embarrass the one you supposedly "like.")
3)Wait for your crush to chase you because with your pathetic insecure confession they suddenly realise they Really Like You enough to endure your low self esteem.
4)Tada. You have the boyfriend you've been crushing on for Years who previously was never aware of you but suddenly loves you with your lovely confession and playing hard to get method to test if he "really", likes you. Zero effort needed <_<

My problem is more with the fact that they really skip over dating AND intimacy. Like, I can understand becoming interested in someone who admits to liking you. Especially when the person in question is attractive. That should lead to a date or something though.

The first story makes sense because most people would fall for a nice, good looking dude if they were already kissing them, sleeping with them, having bar and dinner dates. And they are meeting up almost daily? Sure. That's a basic romantic relationship. It seems like in this last story, all they did was work together and ???? Like, if they had been having sex or going on dates or making out then I'd get it. But they just did nothing and then they are happy ever after.
