In fiction, things are exaggerated to give us those yummy feels. They have to do it this way because there is limited space in each comic page.
In real life this would be messed up. I worry about folks who think BL is a how-to-guide on relationships. Everyone with any sense knows this is exaggerated like any soap opera. Sooner or later, Alex's evil twin cousin who looks exactly like him is gonna show up and also be gay and crushing on DG.
But oh no, then a fourth hawt gay BJ suitor will hop in and also want DG. Because "realism" yo.
Stories like this are wonderful, I actually love them more than anything but the seme is clearly falling for him and still being a jerk to the uke. But I love the roughness in his words and the awkward cute moments between them. Especially when the seme got jealous and din't understand why. I want more...
