Same. I'm a simple boy. I see gay couples in media - it's a good day. I see a hetero ship - I know I'm in for a drawn-out drama ride. A ride I fully expected. But a disappointing one still.

Just to clear things, I don't have anything against hetero. I just seconded @thehappygoat's comment about the growing fudanshi population haha. I'm okay with it though, and I think it's just one way to create a good story. We will get what we want the most, definitely. So don't worry. Peace out! (=・ω・=)

god forbid we might have an opinion that doesn't worship the super basic side hetero couple in every way xD I still like this manga, but it doesn't mean I won't find the next few chapters to be incredibly boring for me.

yet you don’t know their story yet? i’ve read full 30-40 chapter comics of what I would describe as “basic MAIN gay couple” where it was allll long and drawn-out drama. I think this artist/author is doing a really good job with storytelling and it’ll be a fun read either way. The entire story is adorable and I fully support these characters just as much as the main two. I actually think stories with side characters that aren’t just “faceless friend #1 that sometimes asks main character if they wanna walk home after school in the game but gets denied” are stronger than those that implement that trope.

And why does everything have to be gay vs hetero? Why can’t well done romance just be well done romance?
