my eyes get dry and blurry after wearing contact lenses for a few hours. It also doesn't stay put on my iris and it takes me hell lota time to put it on properly. I see youtubers and ig makeup gurus putting em on so fluently in tutorials so idk if it's only me that should stop wearing em or there's something wrong with the lenses? Everytime i wear my contacts my eyes can't stop tearing up and gets bloody red. I try to keep it clean as much as possible. Its FUCKING FRUSTRATING since i DONT LIKE wearing specs 24/7. Well help.

I could be wrong, but aren't cosmetic contact lenses more flexible than prescription ones? That may be why it looks easier when makeup gurus do it

I can't find anything about this. I think I'm most likely wrong so please ignore me. ( ̄∇ ̄")

Firstly, make sure you didn't put them the other way out. Lenses have two sides, check both of them. The correct one is the one with is smooth on the egdes (doesn't have two curves there).
Secondly, put your contact lense right one your iris and wait a milisecond while pressing it so the air bubbles get out from the underneath. This way it won't shift when you close your eye.
Normaly, you shouldn't have problems after a while. It is hard to get accustomed to the feeling, but it should change after some hours.

For the dry eyes, you could take them out briefly and re-wet them using eye drops for contacts. Make sure you clean them properly. As for putting them in, that takes practice. I spent three years practicing so I could put them in without a mirror. If you continue to have problems talk to your eye doctor. Some people just can't wear them.

man idk but both the surfaces feel slippery. I never took proper notice i guess. I do that letting out air bubble thing keeping my eyes closed and press on my lids. Also it kinda burns so i cant help but close my eye after putting it on

Cosmetic contacts are the colored ones that people wear for looks and not for vision problems

Maybe you're allergic to to your saline solution. They put preservatives in them as well as salt and water. I can't use Bauch & Lomb saline solution for example.
