    Im sorry, but correction, Èl in spanish is "he" (or É, the accent marks are confusing) but El in spanish is "The"

    Holy shit, thanks for pointing that out. I've known Spanish all my life and never paid attention to the accent mark.(mostly because nobody I know uses it when wtiting) I sorta just know if the person means "he" or "the" based on context.

    Some people don't know how to put an accent mark, on words, on the computer. Like when you look up Touche, it will come up even without the accent mark when it should be spelled touché. With the word el in Spanish, depends if its masculine or feminine. A woman won't say "el" for "the" and woman would use "la". So it will depend on who the speaker is on what word they would use.

    Sorry. I should actually say "it depends if its a feminine noun or a masculine noun" Whether its "el" or "la".
