Well, most mains in yaoi are two dimensional, stereotypical and without any real depth so it's not like that's limited to girls. There's plenty of yaoi that show girls and women as good people. About as many as there are actually good yaoi manga in fact. It's rare for yaoi to be really lifelike bcs most of it is the don't-think-too-deeply-if-you-want-to-enjoy-this type of story.
