Actually incest is wrong because of genetics. Moral stuff came later

I was just thinking that it's called incest anyway, even if it's with uncles or cousins. It's still not acceptable by society. It is when the relatives are really distant relatives. Even so, people would look at that as something shameful anyway, I suppose
Oh no yeah, you would think the term held the same weight for all family members but it doesn’t. i meant that with uncles and cousins etc., there are/were countries, even in japan where you could legally marry like a cousin as though they weren’t considered a blood relative. I’m saying I don’t understand why that was deemed acceptable since they’re closely related not distant.
