In a fit of anger he said something and she attempted suicide but failed. His mother than moved home and their relationship became strained.
In the meantime Otaku-kun tries to figure out what happend to Seo. But the internet and news don't help him. Than one day he helps his coworker (the girl) with her phone and discovers seos picture. After a fight she tells him, that seo is in a coma and not dead.
Otaku-kun confronts Seo about it and Seo reveals that he remembered his past on the day that Otaku-kun stopped him from leaving at 23:45 to repeat the accident. It is than decided that Seo returns to his body in the hospital, he awakes - but he can't remember the time he spent with Otaku-kun as a ghost. He has deja-vues though, about this times.

I had the same problem with it. I think it is the translation which makes it a bit confusing.
