He did suffer. Unless author had space for around 5 chapters for his suffering :") Of course, their sufferings are on a completely different level and reasons, but if Shinobu himself decided that a new chance will be given to Kou nevertheless what had happened before, then it's cool. Like I said, precious little Shinobu is happy.
Don't get me wrong, if this manga ended differently, maybe Shinobu found someone else or they just separated for good, I'd be okay with it too. But I'm also okay with this, overall it is an amazing manga. We got this ending and I'm pleased with it. I know it will not be a good one for everyone, but it's just my personal opinion ^^
Taste of his own medicine would be too extreme for Shinobu's personality and I'd dislike seeing that. It would go against his nature. I think the fact that the great Kou got ignored and that Shinobu got away from him was a hell of a blow to Kou. Maybe, that's a sort of ''medicine'' his ego deserved :)
meh agree to disagree. we have different taste and opinion neither are right but neither wrong.
I agree about shinobu's personality but if a third party were involved and kou was still at a distance where he was chasing after shinobu who was clearly ignoring him..it would be easy for kou to assume something going on. Just something I would have liked to see that would have made me satisfied but the way things ended was pretty ok :^)
I read somewhere in the comments that there's another volume coming with a "third weel", maybe we get to see something similar who knows :>

I don't think the author had more room for Kou's suffering, because it seems many wanted more lol. I am personally pleased with how it ended and about this manga as a whole. It makes a difference, it is a different manga than most with cheaters where they are forgiven in a minute. I think Kou suffered enough, he learned his lesson and Shinobu saw it.
