But skylars dad ignored him when he called and was only focusing on caring about his 'other'family
If his dad actually wanted to take him, there wouldn't had been no crying Yeonduk to stop him. The fucker didn't want to keep his child so much(or his siblings) and the mother... don't make me start. The only true love he knows is Yeonduk's and everybody made him believe he was like everyone else...
Twisted af
Do we know what that scene was really about, though? We saw Skyler's perspective, and Skyler believed his mom was taking him to his dad, so he blamed Yeonduk for preventing that from happening. Did Skyler fully grasp the situation, though? We know Skyler's mom blamed him for ruining her marriage. We know his father wasn't interested in him, but Skyler treasured the idea of a father because he admired Yeonduk's relationship with his dad. We also know his mother called him a thing and had mentioned wanting to die with him before. She seems to suffer from mood swings and bouts of depression in which she exhibits violent and suicidal. I mention this because Skyler's mother seemed off that day, and her expression when Yeonduk threw himself on the car suggested Yeonduk may have stopped her from doing something more drastic.
that should be "in which she exhibits violent and suicidal behavior."
I really can't tell if it's okay to blame yeonduk or not.. i know he was young but it is undeniable skyler would have been happier with his dad .. smh
