Yess , I was thinking the same thing , but wasn't so sure (I forgot the first part of the plot because the manga is hardly ever updated ) . Asuza was a massive bully (and should've gotten properly punished for it) , but he was the lesser evil of the two... ? (<correct me if I'm wrong)

Yeah, Azusa was a raw king. What he is inside, he show outside. Unlike Karino. Karino like his brother said, born a king/leader. He's all calculating and manipulative. Azusa an asshole when he was a king, but he never rape, molested, or beat someone unreasonably. Everything he did when he was a king was because everyone willingly did it for him.
And even at that time Karino was the one doing the actual bullying/beating up for him (without him even asking for it).
Yes, everyone flocking and clinging to him. They bully for him, did his homework, even give him sexual favor willingly. It's the benefit of him being a king. Everything served on a silver platter. The only thing he's blamed for is, when he's doing nothing and just watched it happen. Like any other Kings or Queens did.

Same. I agree. Rape is surely bad, but not the only bad thing in this world, which is a fact. I think their chemistry is well. A bastard for a bastard, but actually a sad self for another sad self. I don't want Azusa to "win". It would be like voting for a corrupted leader just because of emotional empathy. Actually their rivalry is what's hot to me. If you read the small extras, it's clear the author ships them however twisted they might be. Take a hint : seme's preference, Karino: "I like people who don't break no matter how much i try to break them"... Sounds hot to me. I definitely will like to see where this goes.
