Is the story on break or something? Is it normal to go so long without updating?
Yes and no. Honestly I don't know if the other websites have updated this manga to this point yet (haven't checked)
But there are some manga.... that haven't updated in years.......... that I'm still waiting for. it really depends on the translator. they have lives outside of translating, school, jobs, etc. and then then they need breaks to, I know I have a pain in the blastopore when I'm reviewing or editing English HW and this is in another language. Plus translators may have multiple mangas they are translating at once. then you have favorites that they would enjoy translating and others they would gladly drop, just cause the story took a turn for the worse (like when you stop watch an old favorite TV show... that some how turned into a soap opera, yes some people like those, but its a matter of tastes. THEN they have to worry about people stealing and if stolen they normally drop the project because people would keep stealing if angry fans wouldn't whoop their blastopores to kingdom come.
Its a LOT of work, from my knowledge, they do this because they like it (a hobby more or less done in their free time) while we reap the benefits (especially since manga doesn't come out nearly as much as it should have in the US).
I'm surprised translators haven't been dubbed priests or demi gods, if not god themselves yet, since without their help (blessing) we'd never be able to enjoy the word of Gods (manga artists and editors ^^ don't forget), or I've missed the memo <^o^'>
