There are people who are in relationships with someone who rapped them in real life. You can love someone who has done bad things.

Rape in yaoi doesn't have a purpose other than to say "rape is love" and there are so many series that commit that sin worse than this one. Morinaga is fully aware what he did was wrong.
Holy hell, you people scare me. I still get a bit weirded out with the whole japanese rape culture, even tho this is one of my favourite manga, but I do realize that in real life it's not okay. Sure, some people forgive their rapists and even stay in a relationship with them, but it is by no means a healthy relationship.
